Rosemary is a favorite herb for many cooks, it can be used to flavor meats, roasted vegetables, stews, soups and breads. It is also a popular ornamental garden or container plant that is also deer resistant.
· Sunlight: Requires 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily.
· Soil: Needs loose, well-draining soil; excess moisture causes root rot.
· Watering: Allow soil to dry completely between waterings; highly drought-tolerant once established.
· Thrives outdoors as a perennial in USDA zones 8 through 10, but needs indoor protection in freezing weather.
