Cimarron lettuce is a visually stunning 18th century heirloom romaine variety. Loved for its sweet flavor and crisp texture, it features striking bronze-burgundy leaves with vibrant green centers. This slow-to-bolt, heat-tolerant green grows 10-12 inches tall and reaches maturity in 55 to 65 days.
Germination: Seeds emerge in 7-14 days in cool soil (60° F to 70° F). Sow 1/4 inch deep.
Spacing: Space seedlings 10-12 inches apart.
Light & Soil: Thrives in full sun to partial shade with consistently moist, well-draining soil.
Harvest: Harvest outer leaves as they grow or cut the entire head at the base once mature.
